Dr. Daniel Zinar Dr. Anthony Ahn was born in New York, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Brown University. He stayed at Brown University Alpert Medical School to receive a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1998.

Following medical school, Dr. Ahn completed his surgical internship at New York University/ Bellevue Hospital in 1999, and his orthopaedic residency at NYU/ Hospital for Joint Diseases in 2003. During his residency he took the option to spend 4 months rotating on the trauma service at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, one of the busiest trauma centers in the pacific northwest.

Upon graduation from Residency, Dr. Ahn pursued an additional year of fellowship training, specializing in Hand, Wrist, and Elbow surgery at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. He worked under the guidance of several world renowned hand surgeons at the New England Medical Center and New England Baptist Hospital. He also served as a clinical instructor in Orthopedic Surgery for Tufts University School of Medicine during his time there.

Dr. Ahn then joined the Cedars-Sinai Medical group from 2004-2007. He had the opportunity to help teach USC plastic surgery residents hand surgery while they rotated through the office. Dr. Ahn then spent a year at Kaiser West Los Angeles prior to moving to the South Bay area.
